Here’s what I received from the grapevine:

I’m told that the police will be investigating Alikov and his mother, a pensioner, who purchased a multi-million rouble house with funds allegedly stolen from St Catherine parish, as well as his father, who owns an Audi Q5, on Monday, 21 May. Shall the OCA deal with the problem before the Russian authorities do?

Whether this is accurate or not, I don’t know, but it’s what’s out there, and it’s what I’m hearing (from more than one source). The OCA bishops are always tardy and naïve in their approach. Look at the Archbishop Seraphim affair. Need I say more? It’s only when the OCA’s embarrassed about what’s going to come out in the press that they act. They never do the right thing the first time around and on their own volition. They have to be pushed off the cliff. Don’t expect Fathausen the Great Coryphaeus of all Wisdom to divulge ANY detail. However, if there IS an investigation, any one of the 4-and-20 principals could “sing” to the Genprokuratura… that’s the last thing that Fathausen & Co need at present. It’s a wonderful day in the neighbourhood…

17 May 2012. VOR Presents… The Banner of the Maid of Orléans Recalled in France

France marked the 600th anniversary of the birth of a major national heroine, St Jeanne d’Arc. Although Jeanne was born in January, traditionally, the festivities take place in the first half of May, with the main festivities in Orléans. Every year, the city chooses a 17-year-old girl to play the role of Jeanne; she dresses in a 10-kilo (22 pounds) suit of armour, riding on horseback throughout the city accompanied by her squires. This year, Paris also held celebrations, where they chose their “own” Jeanne.

St Jeanne d’Arc isn’t just a national heroine of France; she’s a canonised saint of the Catholic Church. Her life story is truly amazing. At age 17, she led the French army in the Hundred Years War. Under her leadership, they won a series of victories, including the Siege of Orléans, leading to her nickname, The Maid of Orléans. Up to the present, Orléans celebrates 8 May, the day that the French host lifted the siege, as a major municipal holiday.

Through treachery, the English took Jeanne prisoner, accused her of heresy, and burned her at the stake. In 1909, Pope Pius X Sarto declared Jeanne a Beatus (Blessed), and, in 1920, Pope Benedict XV della Chiesa canonised her. The feastday of St Jeanne d’Arc is 30 May, the day of her death. Virtually every Catholic parish church in France has an image of her.

I’m much happier with “nationalists” than I am with “humanitarian internationalists”… the former are what they are, and they “take of business” at home… they’re not violent busy-bodies like the latter sort (you can see them in the US State Department and amongst the neocons). The former set usually has the front gate unlatched… they’re decent sorts who don’t poke their long noses where they’re not invited. The latter set are a dreary weary lot with prunish sour expressions on their faces and no sensus ludus (playful instinct) whatsoever. Everything is SO serious for them, especially for snotty Born-Again Proddies (who don’t believe in anything fun at all… “Life is serious”). Whether globalists protecting their “investments” or moralists protecting “human rights”… they’re all wrong. The Church is against globalisation and it’s against the universalisation of so-called “Western values”… and that’s that.

In short, do you want to party hearty with the nationalists or do you want to go a oh-so-proper tea-party with tight-arsed prigs who believe themselves “superior” to the common ruck? The choice isn’t hard… there are so MANY ways of being human… the Western ideologues of all stripes forget that. People or Dollars… Homeland or the Bottom Line? what’ll it be? Don’t let the extremist ideologues steal patriotism… then, we all lose…

Oh, one last thing… VOR is an “official” source. Such a nice write-up on French nationalists means that the Russian government’s looking kindly on all anti-globalism elements in the West. VVP‘s not going t0 be the West’s lapdog… no, siree. He’s going to both “go left” in social programmes and “go right” in nationalism. Interesting combo, no?

17 May 2012. New Twist on Dickie Wood… My Sources DISAGREE… Now, THAT’S Interesting

The Dickie Wood story continues to “develop” (in the sense of an old-fashioned photo “emerging” in its chemicals in the darkroom). One source demanded that I remove an earlier post. Legit journalists NEVER do that. Bloggers do. As I’m an internet journalist, earlier posts stay, as they’re “snapshots” of a story at a given point. My earlier sources weren’t lying… they were passing on the story that they knew and heard. Also, I didn’t label it as a “positive confirmed fact”. Such things happen in jouranlism. That being said, it’s clear to me that are several “stories” out there, and it’s all the fault of Fathausen’s lunatic secrecy. Now, after hearing several equally-passionate accounts, all that one can say is that the believers and rank n’ file clergy all disagree on the details of the dénouement of l’Affaire Wood. One story is that he’s in Manton… I reported that already. Another is that he’s in Moscow with Vlad Berzansky Jr (I consider this the least likely, by the way). There’s a third, that denies vehemently that he’s in Manton, but doesn’t give details. This is a typical whisper heard in the loggia:

I can confirm that he isn’t in Manton right now. You should be pursuing the St Catherine’s matter any way that you can. There’s a story there. Bishop Benjamin has no love for Dickie, and Kishkovsky’s out to get him. He’s always been. They’re interested in burying him alive. Real Christian men!  That’s the reason that despite all the evidence, things are what they are.

My take on Dickie Wood is simple. He’s one of the worst and most stuck-up arseholes in the SVS/Syosset orbit. He and his defenders are only repentant because their lunacy has backfired on them. Dickie’s a heartless Renovationist, as so many SVS fanatics are. I’ve no use for the Crestwood mafia, they’re the cause of the current malaise in the Church, completely and utterly. The Schmemanndorff duopoly put it all into motion… the sooner that we destroy St Vladimir’s, the sooner health will return to the Church here. However, Dickie’s been fucked by the powers-that-be with no vaseline. He knows SOMETHING that scares SOMEBODY. Yet, I don’t know where he is or who he’s with… my sources are discordant… passionately so. As for St Catherine in Moscow, my sources have come up with zilch… the perp’s got someone with big vig protecting them, no doubt. All in all, the Genprokuratura should look into it… for the scammer’s aiding Fathausen, who’s the puppet of a known Langley asset, Potapov. That is, Sergei Alikov is aiding an American cleric who’s in the pocket of the American special services… he’s not only acting in a manner befitting criminal investigation, he’s unpatriotic, in aiding a known enemy of the Rodina.

This is a “Niemöller moment”. No, I disagree profoundly with the smarmy pietistic attitude of the Dickie Woods of this world. I find them nasty and juvenile poseurs. Dickie lying about earning a kandidatura was a case in point. However… I WILL speak up for him, as he was unjustly accused, put before a kangaroo court, and unduly sentenced. For those who don’t know it, Pastor Martin Niemöller wrote:

First, they came for the communists,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.

Then, they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

Then, they came for the Jews,

I WILL speak for Dickie Wood… otherwise, no one will speak for me, when they try to attack me (and they shall). There’s no other way around it. I condemn Dickie Wood’s oddbod actions and beliefs, and his coddling of cultish HOOMie filth, yet, I also attack those who used a kangaroo court to fuck him. That’s how decent people act. I do daresay that I’m NOT alone in believing that.

Medvedev Sez that Military Interventionism May Lead To Outright War

On Thursday, Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev observed at an international legal forum in St Petersburg that military intervention in the sovereign affairs of other states could lead to outright war, which could go nuclear, saying, “The introduction of all sorts of collective sanctions bypassing international institutions doesn’t improve the situation in the world, whilst reckless military operations in foreign states usually end up with radicals coming to power. At some point, such actions, which undermine state sovereignty, may well end in a full-blown regional war and even… I’m not trying to spook anyone… the use of nuclear weapons”.

Medvedev went on to say, ahead of a G8 summit, that the right of nations to choose their own path of development is a universal value, referring to the situation in Syria and the Middle East as a whole. Earlier on Thursday, a Kremlin aide said the G8 summit meeting outside Washington on 18-19 May would begin with talks on Syria and the Iranian nuclear problem. Medvedev, who’s attending the meeting instead of President Vladimir Putin, will hold bilateral talks with US President Barack Obama, Arkady Dvorkovich said.
