29 July 2011. The Spirit of Barry Goldwater Says to Mitch McConnell, “J’accuse!”

“Politics and governing demand compromise”. In your heart, you KNOW he’s right! In the end, the New Right disowned Ol’ Barry… ponder that. Honesty, integrity, character, and honour are where you find them, not where you expect them… oh, one last thing before I go… his granddaughter C C Goldwater endorsed Barack Obama, instead of McCain and Lil’ Mizz Sarah… I’d say that she was honouring Ol’ Barry’s legacy of independent thought, wouldn’t you?

Read this:

Democratic leaders in the Senate said on Friday that the top Republican in the chamber was still refusing to negotiate a debt-ceiling increase with them after they defeated a bill backed by Republicans. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell told Senate Democratic leaders he would not work on a compromise after the Senate defeated a bill that had passed the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, Democratic Senator Charles Schumer said at a news conference.

Here’s what Barry Goldwater, “Mr Conservative”, said about compromise and the Religious Rightwing:

Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can’t and won’t compromise. I know; I’ve tried to deal with them. …

I’m even more angry as a legislator who must endure the threats of every religious group who thinks it has some God-granted right to control my vote on every roll call in the Senate. I’m warning them today… I’ll fight them every step of the way if they try to dictate their moral convictions to all Americans in the name of “conservatism”.

That’s the real deal… you’ve got to compromise, and you can’t act as though you’re a pure Crusader wrapped in the mantle of God (if that’s not blasphemous, I don’t know what is). You can have Ol’ Barry the Straight-Shooter or you can have Mitch the Greedy Son of a Bitch… I can hear the shade of Barry saying to Mitch, repeating his own words:

Don’t associate my name with anything you do. You’re extremists, and you’ve hurt the Republican Party much more than the Democrats have. … We’re the new liberals of the Republican Party. Can you imagine that?

I think you can tell where I stand… I don’t think that I’m alone.

29 July 2011. Fathausen Issues Disingenuous Statement on Homosexuality… NOT posted on oca.org as of 16.45 EDT Friday 29 July 2011

This is JP concelebrating with Benjamin Peterson, who didn’t receive the white hat at the last OCA Sobor due to rumours of him being a closeted gay, and Izzy Brittain, a man suspended by the OCA Holy Synod for suspicion of being the gay paramour of Nikolai Soraich (who’s in close contact with JP). It makes JP’s whole statement below utter balderdash.

Here’s a hypocritical pronouncement by El Gordo (don’t hurl… the pietistic hypocrite expects you to take him at face value):

ARCHDIOCESE OF WASHINGTON {a massive group of 12 parishes: editor}

Beloved Fathers, brothers and sisters in Christ,

If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

1 John 1.6-10

In our own lifetimes, we were blessed by an act of prophetic witness in July 1992, when the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Orthodox Church in America issued the magnificent “Affirmations on Marriage, Family, Sexuality, and the Sanctity of Life” {issued under the gay blade Feodosy: editor}. Two decades later, we Orthodox who live in the diocese that includes our nation’s capital city need to be reminded of some of the moral verities contained in the Affirmations. It should be obvious to any attentive observer that those verities are under increasing assault by the intellectual, social, and cultural elites in this country… and even by many of our public officials, particularly in the federal government headquartered here in Washington DC. More alarming is the erosion of those moral verities within some of our Orthodox congregations {what about Storheim, Velencia, Hermie, and Feodosy?: editor}.

The dire need to preserve and protect the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception has been the focus of the annual encyclical of the OCA primate for Sanctity of Life Sunday each January for many years. I wish to remind you, in the prophetic spirit of the apostles, that the Holy Mystery of Matrimony and the moral limits of human sexuality are ancient traditions of the Church not subject to whatever winds of change may be blowing through our society at the moment {then, why did Fathausen smile at Feodosy, Pierre, Soraich, BP, Izzy Brittain, and his long-time sodomite guru Podmoshensky?: editor}. The 1992 Affirmations enunciated clearly and forcefully the following principles and guidelines among others:

  • God wills that men and women marry, becoming husbands and wives. He commands them to increase and multiply in the procreation of children, being joined into “one flesh” by His divine grace and love. He wills that human beings live within families (Genesis 1.27; 2.21-24; Orthodox Marriage Service).
  • The Lord went even further to declare that people who look at others in order to lust after them in their hearts have “committed adultery” (cf. Matthew 5:27-30).
  • Christ’s apostles repeat the teachings of their Master, likening the unique marriage between one man and one woman to the union between Christ and His Church which they experience as the Lord’s very body and His bride (Ephesians 5.21-33; 2 Corinthians 11.2).
  • Marriage and family life are to be defended and protected against every open and subtle attack and ridicule {such as Izzy Brittain and Nikolai Soraich… Hermie and his boyfriend…. oh, yes, El Gordo serving openly with Hermie and Feodosy last year: editor}.
  • Sexual intercourse is to be protected as a sacred expression of love within the community of heterosexual monogamous marriage in which alone it can be that for which God has given it to human beings for their sanctification.
  • Homosexuality is to be approached as the result of humanity’s rebellion against God, and so against its own nature and well-being. It is not to be taken as a way of living and acting for men and women made in God’s image and likeness {except when it’s found within the hierarchy of the OCA or in the life of JP’s guru Podmoshensky: editor}.
  • Men and women with homosexual feelings and emotions are to be treated with the understanding, acceptance, love, justice, and mercy due to all human beings {that’s why he concelebrated with BP and Izzy Brittain, you nasty critics: editor}.
  • People with homosexual tendencies are to be helped to admit these feelings to themselves and to others who will not reject or harm them. They are to seek assistance in discovering the specific causes of their homosexual orientation, and to work toward overcoming its harmful effects in their lives {after all, he served openly with Hermie and Feodosy… that’s what he means, kids: editor}.
  • Persons struggling with homosexuality who accept the Orthodox faith and strive to fulfil the Orthodox way of life may be communicants of the Church with everyone else who believes and struggles. Those instructed and counselled (sic) in Orthodox Christian doctrine and ascetical life who still want to justify their behaviour may not participate in the Church’s sacramental mysteries, since to do so would not help, but harm them {and if we keep complaining of his past association with the known sodomite Podmoshensky, we’re to shut up, for JP says he’s OK: editor}.

Our life in Christ is constituted by repentance. If we are to be faithful Christians, we must be constantly turning toward God, away from our sins and passions, realising the seriousness of our sin in a spirit of repentance, and striving to change our lives. We cannot approach the Holy Mysteries without living a life of repentance, and examining our consciences and confessing our sins {like serving with Hermie and Feodosy at St Tikhon’s: editor}. When we have fallen, we repent, and try to stop our sinful behaviour. Otherwise, we risk communing unto judgement and condemnation. This discipline of the Christian life leads to salvation, enlightenment and the healing of our souls. We must be faithful to that discipline of life, if we are to call ourselves Orthodox Christians {except for those people he likes, such as Peterson, Mel Webber, and David Brum: editor}.

In light of the above, what Orthodox Christian in good conscience would dare to approach the chalice containing the life-giving Holy Mysteries of the Body and Blood of Our Lord, while refusing to acknowledge, confess, and eradicate from his or her life sins against authentic Christian marriage, including fornication, homosexual activity, or adultery {or lying about his past and his intimate involvement with Podmoshensky: editor}? Which sexually active couples co-habiting without the Orthodox sacrament of marriage can expect the Church to bless their unholy union and welcome them to the lifegiving Holy Mysteries of the Body and Blood of Our Lord, unless they find separate accommodations and cease their fornication and get married in the Church {except for gay bishops, who get a general exemption: editor}?

We are all called as Christians to live a life of chastity, pleasing to the Lord, married or single. If we are Christians we are all called, whatever our attractions or past habits, to the same saving discipline that will heal our souls {except in the case of clerical sodomites, whom he gives a dispensation to: editor}. Otherwise we are living in hypocrisy, a living death {what about JP’s unrepentant association with Podmoshensky?: editor}; just as when we judge others struggling with their sins. This has been delivered to us from the Apostles and Holy Fathers, and remains unchanged to this day. The Orthodox teaching on chastity and Christian marriage is a fundamental element in Christian life and discipline {except in the case of Peterson, Webber, et al: editor}. We are called to conform our lives to the Church and its disciplines, not alter the teachings of the Church to fit either a cultural fad or our own passions {except where Podmoshensky or Soraich is involved: editor}. Where we stand against the prevailing cultural trends, we must stand fast, because we know that obedience to the Church’s teaching leads us to communion with God and eternal life; and disobedience leads to alienation from God, spiritual death {then, JP’s spiritually dead, as his concelebration with Izzy Brittain proved: editor}.

As the Lord proclaims in the Gospel of St. Luke, “Every one to whom much is given, of him will much be required. . .” (Luke 12.48, RSV). We Orthodox Christians have been granted eternal life as a free, unmerited divine gift. Virtuous struggle against sexual temptations is hardly too much for the Lord to ask of us {except in the case of Peterson, Storheim, Soraich, and Swaiko: editor}. The Lord honours the genuine intent of those who, with humility and repentance, so struggle, even as He judges those who, moved by a spirit of pride and defiance, persist in the spiritual delusion that unnatural or unholy sexual activity can be blessed {what about Podmoshensky, JP?: editor}. I have already instructed the clergy of our Archdiocese to honour their ordinations by acting in full accordance with our uncompromising Orthodox moral tradition {is that why JP acted in an equivocal manner with Ray Velencia?: editor}. I expect all of us faithful to honour our baptism and unique calling as Christians {except for the people he gives a pass to, such as Peterson and Brittain: editor}.

These teachings are not onerous, but rather, part of the light yoke and easy burden of being a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.

With love in Christ,

Archbishop of Washington

Metropolitan of All America and Canada (sic)

Editor’s Afterword:

This needs no commentary… the Great Oz has spoken! Well… if the above is to be taken literally, the only question that we have is, “When are you going to resign for going against your own pronouncement, JP?” Note well that this wasn’t posted on oca.org or on Stokoe’s site. It probably shall be, tout suite, as I’ve just posted on it. This is too much. This guy’s nutters, and everything he says is bollocks on stilts. This is dated YESTERDAY, and it’s not up on oca.org, yet. This dumb-as-dirt bozo doesn’t know when to shut up.

God preserve us all.

Editor’s Update:

A friend sent me the following:

It’s a classic attempt at misdirection. I’ll bet dollars to doughnuts this blurb of Republican bluster is predicated by the Wood event. This makes the latter that much more interesting! It’s so pathetic, so transparent. He’s some kind of rank idiot. “They’ll never suspect my friends if I say this!  Yeah!” Let’s chip in together to mail this moron a new drool bucket.

This is serious, guys; he’s making Christ’s Holy Church look like a combination of the Keystone Kops, Gilligan’s Island, and the classic Russian comedy, Samogonshchiki (The Moonshiners)… only it’s not funny… it’s blasphemous. Won’t His Holiness act? When I reflect on the fact that this gibbering poseur supports the people who denied my Nicky Medicaid… it’s almost too much to bear. I’d say to His Holiness, “Ну, так что же?” (Nu, tak chto zhe?: Well, what about it?) The people suffer, sir… DO SOMETHING.

29 July 2011. Here’s the Truth of the Matter Concerning the New GOP/Tea Party… It’s Only the BEGINNING of What They Want to Do In Toto

THIS is what the rightwingers in society and the Church want… the unemployed are “freeloaders” leeching off the “productive” affluent sorts, dontcha know! They want the “invisible hand of the market” to throttle you for their personal profit… reflect on that. They’re NOT responsible… oh, no!

Let me give you a solid example of how soulless, godless, and gelt-worshipping the New GOP/Tea Party is. My Nicky found out that he needed some dental work, as one of his teeth partially fell out. He’s on unemployment, but New York State (under pressure from greedy Republican pigs) threw him off Medicaid, as he “made too much money”, and placed him on an alternative programme. Well, that programme doesn’t cover dental work! He can’t get the dental work done that he needs… and which he would’ve received, as a given human right, in all other developed countries. He went to a hardware store to buy a FILE, so that he could file off an overhanging amalgum.  This is so the Five Percenter swine can continue to be the most lightly-taxed group of the affluent in the G20… indeed, the US affluent are taxed at derisory Third World levels, that is, they receive preferential treatment whilst regressive taxation is laid on wage-earners (through payroll taxes, fees, sales taxes, and petrol taxes).

If this doesn’t move you, you’re one of Satan’s Own… and I’ll say so, publicly. I’ll also say something else… I’m going to take my stand and I’m going to name names. Jonas Paffhausen, Victor Potapov, Patrick Reardon, Rod Dreher, Alexander Lebedeff, Terrence Mattingly, John Whiteford, Freddie M-G, and Lyonyo Kishkovksy are the enemies of Our Lord Christ and His Church, they’re deluded followers of the Anti-Christ‘s programme of favouring the rich over everyone else, and they willingly follow the Black Flag of Nihilism. They’re Thurificati, that is, those who burn incense on the altar before the statues of the gods. These sorts burn incense willingly (and without compulsion) before Almighty Mammon, chanting fervently, “There’s no god but Mammon, and Ayn Rand is his Prophet”. Their rightwing ideology is more important than their religious belief. I say, let’s not stand in fear… let’s not cower. It’s time to say, “Enough!” Our Lord Christ demands it. If you don’t, you smash your boot full-force upon the faces of those who’re the least-powerful, and unable to fight back. You kick my Nicky in the head, and I won’t have that. “They all have faces… they all have names”. Yes, one of the people that you’re kicking in the face is my Nicky, and I’ll fight you every step of the way, for your ideology’s evil, full stop (even if I lose, I shall stand up… I’ll not go cowering). Either we stand up and fight back or evil will triumph. Don’t forget these words (attributed to Edmund Burke, but disputed):

All that’s necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

We have to DO something… don’t listen to the lying rants of Rush Limboob and his ilk, refute the rightwing commentariat with facts, don’t vote for the New GOP/Tea Party… otherwise, we’ll face some HOT questioning on the Last Day… DO think on this, for your eternal destiny IS involved.
