One of these things is NOT like the other… and anyone who’d confuse the two is a scumbag, too. You can associate with selfless people of character or you can associate with selfish moneygrubbing “law of the jungle” libertarians. It’s up to you… you can’t hang out with both.

Here’s another Russian riff on “Kosovo IS Serbia” (a tip of the Pravoslavny hat to the Serbian bros who thought that one up). Bloomberg Business Week ran a scurrilous Russophobic article before the Sochi Olympics/Paralympics. I looked at the cover, and instead of getting angry like a stupid Galician Uniate, I got INSPIRED. That’s how normal human beings react… they don’t go running to their sugar daddies for protection and scream “hate speech”, they turn the haters’ hate against them! When you do that, you not only don’t get overly pissed off, you intensify your response by turning the rhetoric of hate into a blow for the right. I saved the image, waiting for the proper occasion… well, this is it. The West refuses to recognise the will of the people… it knows that Novorossiya will shake off the shackles of the grasping oligarchs, and that pisses them off magnificently. THEY DON’T HAVE THE MEANS TO ENFORCE THEIR DIKTAT… that angers them beyond all measure. What should our reaction be as Russian Orthodox Christians (of all nationalities) in the diaspora? Look below…

Pavel Gubaryov Calls for the Creation of Novorossiya

According to ITAR-TASS, Pavel Gubaryov, People’s Governor of Donetsk Oblast, recently released from prison in Kiev, told Rossiya-24 TV, “The referendum is everything for us, it’s our declaration of independence, it’s the formation of a new entity… the Donetsk People’s Republic. However, this new entity is only the first step to our forming a bigger entity, Novorossiya, in all the former southeastern Ukraine”. Novorossiya is a historical term referring to territory conquered by the Russian Empire in the 1700s, which became part of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, part of the USSR, in 1922. Gubaryov took part in Sunday’s voting and noted the high turnout, “There have never been such high turnouts at any previous polling. They exerted physical and moral pressure on me in prison. I don’t seek a martyr’s halo; I’m a soldier, after all. I look upon what happened there as a part of my fight. People fought here, I fought there. I had no contacts with investigators, I gave no evidence, and this was the core of the conflict. They put a red mark on my dossier… ‘prone to escape’… I slept on a plank bed with no mattress”. The junta released Gubaryov from prison on 7 May. The Donbass People’s Opolchenie swapped him for three detained SBU officers. A rally in the city’s central square proclaimed Gubaryov People’s Governor of Donetsk on 1 March. Shortly after, the SBU opened a criminal case against him and arrested him on 6 March.

The unravelling of the fictive “Ukrainian” state continues… the way it’s going, the only existence that the “Ukraine” will have is in diaspora communities in the USA and Canada. Unfortunately, it’ll lead to such groups becoming MORE strident and hateful than they are now (yes, it IS possible). Cross yourself and AVOID such people… fighting with them serves no good end and all that it’ll do is to piss you off to no good result. Know how to choose your fights… and don’t fight with such sorts…
